Career-Related Education
I have two major examples of career-related education. These are FBLA and Technology Education courses.
Future Business Leaders of America
In FBLA, I have learned to better my communication skills as well as my leadership abilities. My newly established presentation skills have allowed me to speak in front of large crowds (Teacher of the Year Ceremony). My FBLA Accomplishments can be found here.
Technology Education
In Computer Applications, I learned valuable typing and computer skills, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. At SPSU, I have taken Programming and Problem Solving I which teaches the fundamentals of the Java programming language. This course seemed easy to me since I took AP Computer Science in high school. My senior year, I enrolled in an IT Networking course where I learned how to repair and troubleshoot computers as well as code in the Python language. See examples of my Technology Education experience here.
